What is a Scale-up Business?
A business is classified as a scale-up if it meets the following growth metrics over a 3-year period:
Employee Count
At least 10 employees at the start, with 20% annual growth in headcount over 3 years.
Turnover Growth
Achieved 20% annual growth in turnover over a 3-year period.
The Application Process
Online Submission
Complete the online sponsor licence application via the Home Office portal.
Fee Payment
Pay the application fee (£536). No Immigration Skills Charge applies to this route!
Licence Grant
Once approved, your licence is valid for 4 years, allowing you to issue Certificates of Sponsorship (CoS).
